We believe that culture and connection is currency, so we curate experiences, resources and connections that spark community engagement and collaboration.
Since our founding in 2020, Know Us, powered by the nonprofit Plant, Build & Restore, has curated national opportunities to authentically immerse in community from a hyper local and impact-driven lens.
Now in our fourth year, we’ve hosted immersive, multi-day conferences in three cities and convened over 150+ professionals and leaders. We’ve collaborated with local partners to highlight Black history, culture and progress in order to activate community engagement and collaboration. Through this, we’ve invested over $100,000 directly into communities, while engaging and supporting over 75 Black and POC-led businesses and organizations.
From dinner on a Third-Generation Black and Gullah-Geechee Owned Farm, to horseback riding in a historic Black town, youth-led conversations and small group workshops, we’ll change the way you see community. And, we’ll equip you with the connections, inspiration and confidence to be the change our communities need.
